Kindness amid the pandemic, Family opens charity kiosk in KL

The effects of the pandemic can be felt by everyone. Some where affected severely, while some not that much. A family had started a charity kiosk in Kuala Lumpur to help the fellow residents in the area.

On 20 February 2021, a netizen, Hasha had shared that her mother had open a kiosk to distribute essential goods to the needy. She commented that the kiosk was named after her grandparents and if you are staying around Keramat and Kampung Baru, you can drop by their kiosk if you need some assistance.

The kiosk is named Pondok Sedekah Omar Zabedah (Omar Zabedah Charity Kiosk) and it is located directly infront of Omar Ali Villa.

For those who wanted to support them, you can contribute by donating to them. You can message the netizen directly at her Twitter username @nurhashaidris here.

Malaysians seemed to be very supportive of this too. According to Hasha, they’ve collected RM2,000 from 20 people and she will be supplying the needy with more goods too.
